Speakers biography
Karl Gheysen was born in Belgium and he graduated from the HIEPSO in Kortrijk. He has also completed several management courses at Strayer University, as well as INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. For more than 15 years he has been senior manager and expert in container terminals, port management and management for logistics projects. From August 2014, he is Chief Executive Officer at “KTZE – Khorgos Gateway LLP”. This is the Dry Port and Economic Zone project, located on the border between Kazakhstan and China along the New Silk Route. Since March 2017, he is Executive Director Europe Region, KZT Express.
